Available by Custom Graft
Orders
for custom grafts should be sent no later than February 15th.
We graft our trees the beginning of March.
Custom grafts are grown for one season. Once they go dormant in the
fall, we dig them, and ship them to you bareroot for fall (or spring)
planting. Because
of the time involved in gathering scion wood, and keeping track of individual
orders, we charge $32.50 per
custom graft.
Also,
we offer a benchgraft service for folks who are looking to preserve an old
homestead tree. Benchgrafts,
which you grow out, are shipped in April, after they have callused. The cost for each benchgraft is
$10.50.
We
do not offer benchgrafts of the trees described in the catalog or listed on
this page. Also, we are unable to
sell scion wood at this time.
